Presentation

Guided tours of two caves and an ancient Roman road, hikes, prehistory game trails, caving activities... we can adapt to any request for school groups and children's groups (MJC...)!

Just 25 minutes from Chambéry, discover the Saint Christophe caves on a school outing or a day out at a leisure center.
Our site allows children to discover the Voie Sarde, an ancient Roman road redeveloped in the 17th century, which follows a canyon-like defile, as well as the 2 caves of Les Echelles.
The first invites you to take a meander through a meander full of giant potholes, while the second, a refuge according to legend for the famous smuggler Mandrin, can be crossed on a footbridge 20m above the ground, offering a panoramic view.

In the reception area, a free permanent exhibition presents the Fru site, home to the first prehistoric men in the Chartreuse!

Children's groups are picked up by our mediators as they leave the bus. The site can accommodate up to 3 groups of 25 children, thanks to rotating visits and self-guided tours.

Please contact us to organize your visit together and adapt it to your educational project.

Opening

From 15/03 to 15/11.
