Departing from Chambéry, the first part of the climb will be shared with the ascent to the Col de Plainpalais, but will then take you to the La Féclaz resort and the Revard belvedere with its 360° views;
Departing from Chambéry, a long, steady climb awaits you. The villages of St Jean d'Arvey, Les Déserts and Plainpalais punctuate the climb, before arriving at the La Féclaz resort, well known to cross-country skiers, which marks the end of the steepest slopes. Then cross the plateau and its forest to reach the summit of Mont Revard, where a magnificent panorama awaits you from the belvedere pontoon: Mont Blanc in the background and a breathtaking view of Lac du Bourget. This famous route has played host to the Tour de France several times.
Catering available in La Féclaz or at the summit in the old cable car station.
From the center of Chambéry, take the cycle path to Saint Alban en Leysse and the start of the ascent. The ascent is shared with the Col de Plainpalais via the D912. Then follow the D913 to the summit.
