Presentation

Come and discover La Thuile as a family, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of spring and autumn as you make your way gently around the lake. Finish this lovely loop, accessible to all, with a visit to the village.

D/ La Thuile village hall parking lot.

1/ Leave the village hall on your right and head straight ahead into the field, towards the small undergrowth.
Follow a dirt path alongside the lake, returning to the road after a few minutes.

2/ Go left along the road for 100m, then left at the crossroads.
Continue along the lake for about 10 minutes on a tarmac track.

3/ Pass the auberge du lac on your right, then the town hall and head into the village. Take a left past the cemetery, a few more minutes on the road and you'll reach your starting point.
Please take care on this part of the walk, as you are on the road, and cars may arrive at any moment.

This popular spot offers a very pleasant setting just a few dozen minutes from the Chambéry basin. When you arrive, please respect the parking spaces provided. Cars parked outside the spaces are likely to obstruct traffic, and particularly emergency services. Keep to the paths: grass that has been flattened by trampling is unusable by farmers. Make sure you wear suitable footwear, as some sections of the trail may be wet, depending on the level of the lake. Bivouacs are not permitted on this enchanting site.
